I don't really agree that she used to be more "art'.

I think she was more successful at it before due to the novelty of it all and her ensuring that she'd (usually) look pretty whilst being weird, to aid accessibility. Plus, a lot of her "art" moments back in the day weren't really that out there - it was more a case of eccentricity/theatricality than being odd/controversial.

Hopefully she's somewhat got this artsy rebellion out of her system so she can focus on quality entertainment rather than making statements. I enjoy that she references, embodies and creates interesting art work...but ultimately I think she's letting it distract her too much.

WAIT, all the Versace photographs have leaked, and ironically, the shots they used in the adverts are not that heavily photoshopped as one would think:


Her face has the same 'alien' look and her knee/leg has the same shape (like it's the knee/leg from the other side)


They also didn't mess with her pinky finger. It's just the angle of her finger that makes it seems short and weird


Her face has the same glow as in the advert here

I mean i love the music in ARTPOP, it's my fave/second fave album of hers so far and so is the tour but the era was such a wasted potential and her mid era meltdown killed it for most of us.
