Technically, only two of Lemonade's four nominations would make Beyoncé a legitimate Emmy winner anyway, and she's only lost one of them so far. At least there's still a chance.
Nonetheless, with the deck being so stacked this year, it's still only a 17% chance and Grease: Live has already taken home four.
Sam (her old assistant) is still at Parkwood. She must have gotten promoted. Idk why this matters to me but I was lowkey sad when I thought she had been replaced
and yeah, I have a feeling that her years of GRAMMY sweeps are over since she's taken herself off of the hamster wheel. she's probably rubbed a lot of the status quo the wrong way and they make up a lot of the voters (execs, etc)
I was listening to Ghost last night and I honestly don't know why we get worked up over promo and all that when she basically told us in that song that the old Beyonce is gone. "All the **** I do is boring, all the **** I hear is boring. I don't trust these record labels I'm touring. All these people on the planet working 9-5 just to stay alive, how come?"
like, how much clearer can it be that she's saying she's done working herself to death for the music industry and charts but three years later we (me included) still drag her for no promo
We all know she's focusing on touring...so when we wonder and stress over new dates in the tour thread it shouldn't be a surprise, right? Because some atrl hive seem to think it's weird for us to expect dates outside of North America and Europe
Don't even get me started on her promoting then deleting the evidence off the internet
mess if this really happens at least we'll get new music and visuals even if jay ruins it
I wonder if this was their plan all along. They had to know Jay was gonna get dragged and take a hit to his rep after Lemonade so they're gonna rehab it with the joint album I guess?
