The beats on the first verse need to match up with the (demo's) vocal melody. Those repetitive hits sound really basic and make the song kinda flat tbh.
That being said, Applause, Gypsy, and DWUW were the only songs that had major single material. G.U.Y. was a huge mistake but I don't think it was really meant to be a single as much as it was for Gaga to have her revenge against her label.
Fellow little miscroscope use encouragers, are the London dates really sold out? Everyone tells me so but when I try to buy tickets they're available in multiple sites
There usually always are resellers that are trying to sell tickets. An ofc ticket scalpers.
Her voice is SO sultry when she sings Artpop live. It's really kinda sexy (and I don't even find women attractive). A shame they chose to make the album version so robotic because it really could have soared the charts!

One of Gaga's biggest problems is how robotic her studio versions are. Brooklyn Nights could be such a huge smash if it were sung with a little more passion and emotion. I guess that's why I love Dope so much, and why it was so critically acclamed, and why it's one of the few artpop songs on the album ... because you can hear the ****ing emotion in every single note.
If you want to make it country baby it's ok
