Views during most of the first day of availability are never reliable, because Youtube wants to check they are all legit, so the viewcount updates slower than usual. That also explains why some Youtube videos get more likes than views when they are first uploaded!

Okay some people are really overreacting the song SLAYS !!!! The MV is different from our expectations but that does not imply it's bad .. it's amazing and really gorgeous We all wanted a beautifully shot MV with holly and retro glam BUT isn't that concept outdated too ?? At least this one has much more memorable scenes than a picture perfect hollow colourful vid imo

The video isn't bad. You guys are really trying it. And it's not like Taylor has the best videography out there, so the video is quite great for her.

And the hate for the IKYWT video is real, it's really good imo.

Well, the video is definitely a grower for me. Some of the scenes are excellent . The artitry is good. I'm sure it will get technical nominations at the MTV Vmas and so on.. Only problem is; this is not the kind of video that will help the song on the charts, (like Blank Space MV released and the song went directly #1 after that). Of course it will help, but the video affect will be small. Style needs to be performed on air multiple times, otherwise its peak will be #3 at max.
