NO she is legit signed to schoolboy records which Scooter Braun owns for her US debut. All acts signed under SB projects are also under Schoolboy including Psy.
OH... Is she Under YG and distributed by Schoolboy or fully under Schoolboy?

Its co distribution...Asia YG/YGEX....America/Europe/Africa Schoolboy. I think Scooter is taking on most of the costs with YG footing something as well but not as much as Scooter. However YG and scooter probably arranged a deal for WINNER/iKON/GD/New YG GG if CL is success and as he also has PSy as who to represent them in the US along with 2NE1 as Minzy has been working on her English a lot and the mysterious distribution by Capitol Records instead of YGE.
2-4 years til he has to go join the army. Lets say its a year for an album he has a year to promote til he disappears off the face of the earth for 2 years which is dangerous. Wiser to wait for him to get out.
Meanwhile Taeyang with his #2 debut album on US iTunes still not working on an US career.
I was about to shade his Engrish here but when I went to Youtube for a video of him trying to speak English I actually proved myself wrong and discovered he's actually a lot more competent than I thought he was
So if he keeps working on his pronunciation I'd probably be here for an English album from him. His previous English-language songs/remakes of his Korean songs were a bit meh for me for the most part but those were HOT and Solar eras so I guess he could've improved a fair bit since then.
On another note, Leeteuk and Hyeri gave a touching tribute to Ladies Code while presenting this years' Rookie Award at the Gaon Awards
Quote:
Leeteuk said, "Seeing WINNER and MAMAMOO win the rookie awards makes me think of Ladies' Code. Last year, Ladies' Code won the award and their happy image has popped back into my head. It's regrettable that they are not here with us today."
Hyeri added, "I wish people would listen to their songs more and remember them." Leeteuk said, "We also wish that the other members would recover quickly, so that we could see them on stage," showing his support for not only the group's rehabilitation but also their return to the K-Pop world.

Oh that was actually very sweet and heartwarming.
I do hope they continue as a trio. Everybody was like "too soon" when a rumor came out saying they could be coming back in march, but I think there's no right time for this kind of thing, if they are already healthy and willing they should go for it.

I'd love for them to come back but only if the members really wanted it and not if it was some forced thing from their company. Like being in a fatal car accident which killed two of your members is lifetime scarring-level **** to deal with so I honestly wouldn't blame them if it turned them off being K-pop idols for good
There was already talks of a Ladies' Code comeback in quarter one, but I agree with Callum I only want it to happen on the girls terms. I'm sure Polaris have been going through an overhaul due to the accident and most importantly the members have to be in the right state of mind. I hope that if it does happen, they're all in a good state of mind and are are mentally ready. If not, then hopefully they simply don't do it.
