It's quite the same with me, I thought I would get life from the studio version, but it's not that great, which is weird because I was slayed by the performance. The original is way better.
Lady Gaga's and R. Kelly's harmonies were the song. The remix's harmonies leave me cold.
i think gaga released the remix too late tbh. i know she probably had the xtina plans for the voice like a week before the show but she should've had the remix ready to be released that night or a week after at the most. at this point she needs to release the video and hopefully make it go top 10 and then just let it fall and move on to single 3.

Weird enough with this era feeling sour already am soo excited for her Jazz album with Tony Bennett.
I mean its the perfect chocolate bar for the critics and media, just one thing Interscope please plan that era early in advance.

However, that doesn't change the fact that it's her best single choice in forever, and is a great song in general. I predict it will peak at #9 or 10 on BB Hot 100 like Britney's Toxic did. I hope the MV is good, but I'm not counting on it. It's a sad state of affairs that much of the fanbase is afraid of the video hurting the song, but it is a weak era in general thus far, not much we can do on that one.
That said I'm glad she and her label/team aren't giving up on this without a fight (ala Capitol and Uncle). It's nice that they're actually giving it a chance for a change.
