They didn't have the development time to make pools and toodlers, but supernatural worlds? I'm still buying the game, but i'm not gonna use any of those wierd worlds.
I want my game to be semi-realistic and a simulation of real life, not some fantasy game
I never use all those magics, vampire, and ****... I find it pretty useless.

It's easy to chuck a few new plants, and a recolour of a few already existing trees etc.
The reason why Toddlers aren't in the game is because the game was originally online, and the Toddler and Baby life stages were seen as unnecessary. They spent five years developing The Sims 4 with those Sims.
Then EA ordered the team to make it offline, and they had to do it within a year. So they couldn't get Toddlers in the game, since it took them 5 years to develop the current Sims, and Toddlers would take at least another year to develop.
Each life stage has approximately 11 hours worth of Animation to program (doesn't sound like that much, but that includes how they walk around the house, how every function works etc.) which can take longer than animating a character for a movie.
---
Pools were removed because since it was an online game, it was to complicated to have Sims swimming and walking, so they kept walking instead. And being online, it wouldn't have mattered that they didn't swim. It wasn't the focus of the game.
But now it's just an ordinary Sims game, and they did their best within the year they had to change it.
Remember, EA are the ones to blame. Not the development team.

The Sims games with fantasy elements are usually the best selling (Makin Magic, Apartment Life, Supernatural (Witches etc). Nightlife, Late Night (Vampires) are like the biggest selling packs from the series.
The others don't do as good. Which is why in The Sims 3 every expansion pack added something Supernatural, whether it was plant Sims, or Werewolves or Aliens etc.
You had to unlock items in The Sims 2 as well...lol.
The items in The Sims 4 unlock the same way they did in The Sims 2.
Through Careers and Goals.
lmao those were career rewards, items especially suited for the careers, in the sims 4 we're going to have to unlock beds and chairs basically. it's not the same thing
The gimmicks (gifts, tour, evasive marketing)
The missing pools and toddlers because they didn't have time to make it
The teens being as tall as adults, elders
The new "neighborhood" of 5 lots and loading screens between ever 5 lots (Sims 1 teas)
No rabbit holes, going to work a-la Sims 2
are such a set off for me, and I am kinda worried. The reviews from the players so far are suggesting a moderate success...
I hope I'll enjoy it as much as I did enjoy every other Sims game, basically I have all the EP's SP's
p.s-CAS is nothing special tbh, I mean it's like a tad of update from the sims 3, sliders wise.

Basically your info is either made up by you or by some fictitious site.
It’s easy to look at something and think, ‘That looks pretty simple.’ When you think about a feature like pools upfront, it looks like a square box on the ground and you put a shader on the top surface and have Sims jump in.”
“But ultimately, it’s more complexity in terms of what tech’s there and what isn’t there, what we have to build to support this. How do we cut down into the terrain, how do we get Sims going through portals across different levels of pools? There’s so much that’s going on in the background that you don’t end up seeing just to have a Sim go swimming.”
They built the system for Sims 4 and then faced the challenge for pools, it has nothing to do with online gaming, and sims 4 was never BASED on fully online gaming, and still will feature an online part...

You have no idea what you are talking about. We have leaked footage of it being an online game, and EA are never going to admit the Sims 4 is a made up from scraps of an online game.
Why would they make an engine that couldn't support pools? If they never planned to have them them in the first place.

Only the most expensive bed/chair/fridge etc are unlockable, and as in the Sims 2, those are unlockable by completing aspirations.
Career rewards are for Careers. Aspiration awards are based on completing Romance etc.
Furniture is unlocked when you complete Aspirations like "Buy a new chair with $300" or something. At least that's how it was in my game

The CAS and the Sims look MUCH better. The Sims 3 Sims were ugly as hell.
& the others have been explained multiple times so yeah.
Still working on Justine. Her hips kinda bother me, but it might just be the dress. Up close, her face also looks a tad wonky, but I can't really name what's wrong.

I wasn't expecting an explanation, I was saying that those things are lacking from the BASE game and/or lacking from previous parts. And logically, the game needs to EVOLVE and get better with time, some things for me are actually worse than TS3 let's say.
