And then sitting in here wondering why everyone was paying him dust. Buy the album, don't-but I'm sure people got tired of seeing "I haven't paid attention to her for a decade" in threads that didn't even merit such a response.

The ending of the song kinda made it better, but it was a slow ballad. I'm sure it'll grow on me after many listens, so for the first time I may be too harsh on it

It sounds like something you'd hear at the church. I'm sure I'll like it more once I hear it again. It has a similar style to Don't Hurt Yourself, with a little bit of rock vibe.

I like it, I'm debating if I should just give it a 5 I'll listen to it again and possibly change it. Probably one of the strongest tracks besides Love Drought.

Formation 4.5/5

Probably the most upbeat song. Love the beat and production of it. Now honestly this track should've been switched with Pray You Catch Me and this album would've been perfect. I prefer starting an album upbeat, not with a ballad, but I guess it depends. I'll keep listening to this album and see how it flows.

Overall I give Lemonade a 4/5 This album was pretty damn good. I regret it! I thought it was some over hyped album and I just ignored the demand. Now I want to drink a glass of Lemonade in spirit of this album.

currently listening to DIL album...i had been so tired of Baby Boy for years but actually listening to the original studio version is giving me life.

DIL album is underrated...yes there are some duds....but many of ya'll do way too much about this album. this is a solid debut effort.

with this album...you see Beyonce clearly setting herself apart from DC...DC3 was not doing funk/go-go sounds like CIL or experimenting with dancehall/reggae flavor like she did on Baby Boy. pre-Destiny Fullfilled era...they never had sexy bedroom songs like Speechless, Be With You, or the disco flavored Naughty Girl. Beyonce really went from being a teen into an adult woman with this record.

other than the original "Dangerously In Love" of course...the only other song that DC could've likely recorded as a group together would be "Me, Myself, and I". that was most in line with their female empowerment image.
