This. I can totaly hear the diffierence when she sings but she has some songs including WMN where she almost quiet.
That video I was talking about was Man Down tho and the backing track has like 2 lines only in the chorus

No its not that heavy, like compare it to fifth harmony at least you can still hear rihanna
And the thing is that a lot of people dont know is that they dub vocals in the studio, which means at parts of a song there are multiple vocals layered. not harmonies just the same notes to make it sound fuller. I dont see whats wrong with doind the same thing live, thats what those backing tracks are for.
I dont know if yall use Years & Years but a lot of their performances sound very dull. Not because of the band or Olly's voice but because there is no backing track.
