This is the tax form you fill out to claim your exemption from Obamacare. There are 3 options

1. Healthcare is unaffordable
2. Already have an existing healthcare plan
3. Not a US Citizen

I did about 50 tax returns last year and all of them received an exemption from the government, so please educate yourself. The government isnt out to get you, dear.

How arrogant of you to say that if some people can't afford dramatic hikes in insurance, they must be spending their money on frivolous things. Some people have families with numerous expenses who really weren't able to afford to have their health costs double like that.

And also how arrogant for you to brag at your low costs. If anyone is not paying their fair share it is you, since you aren't paying the full costs of your healthcare. And you can only be exempt from Obamacare if your total income is too low to even matter, not if your disposal income is too low.

Again not totally true. The costs were not projected to hike like that for millions of people, and many plans that would not have changed at all were canceled to accommodate the law.

Saying Obamcare decreased costs is still up for dispute. Growth slowed at first, then costs spiked once the ACA was expanded. Many people are not getting more service for more money, they are getting the same service for more money.

Poor argument. With how strong the GOP is in congress, a single-payer plan would not take place. All of the Republican candidates are campaigning for getting rid of Obamacare and that's one of the most popular views among conservative voters. Many people want Obamacare dismantled and you want to work towards something much more extreme? Again, that cannot be done. The Democrats would need a strong hold on the rest of the federal government beyond just the presidential seat, which isn't likely right now. Strengthening Obamacare and improving upon it is the intelligent way to go. There's no sense fighting for something that can't be accomplished. One, it will set Bernie up to be the president that couldn't keep any of his promises and further the chances of an extremely right GOP president for 2020-2028.

Lol! The government actually did something nice for me and it made me arrogant? Please. I makes less than 20,000 a year if it wasnt for obamacare i would have 0 coverage. Its the family's job to prioritize healthcare coverage. I want to see these struggling families i bet are walking around with iphones or androids. Yes keep telling yourself that while I backed up my claims of costs being cut with an article. The fact is the Obamacare is less expensive than people were initially projecting. I'd hardly call that a collapse and many Republican states are even implementing it now. Republicans in the house and Democrats in the Senate passed a number of fixes to iron out the kinks over the last several years in secret.

It's not just Republican states that will be affected if the insurance giants pull out of the system. Lots of the govt exchanges are already going under (for variety of reasons, but still)

I haven't watched The Young Turk's coverage of the debate yet but I can already predict it. Bernie won and has the best answer, Hillary had the worst answer.

Speaking of them, Anna lost SERIOUS cool points when she went on her "I'm a woman and I'm not voting for Hillary" tangent. I've seen more women say they aren't voting for HRC and highlighting their gender for that than women actually saying they support Hillary because of her gender. I think her foreign policy is her biggest weakness. Most Dems don't want anything to do with the ME, and with Hilary it's almost a guarantee she'd go further than Obama in that area
