Race, as we understand it today, is an arbitrary categorization based on skin pigmentation, facial structure and geographical ancestry... originally created by Europeans to justify slavery and colonialism by providing "scientific" basis to the belief Europeans (designated as "white") were superior to other groups of people and therefore had moral authority to supplant other people's governments, replace their cultures with their own and benefit from their exploitation.
