That's the only thing they can find to criticize her for. I mean, their logic is "my fave didn't lip, yeah she/he sounded like garbage, but she/he didn't lip so blah!!!"

Quite frankly, I ignore it. Especially if their fave got on stage sounding like a cat being raped by a hot poker. Its just not worth the time and effort. In all honestly, some of their faves NEED to lip more.

I'm glad Bey Sunday night her night. Her performance is the most talked about, her awards the most talked about, she made history, and showed the world what hard work and talent look like.

She really should have been the last performer.

the level of production at the VMAs and "Freedom" @ BET Awards is what i have wanted from Bey for many years now at these award shows.

its funny b/c during the DIL era...she had the big budget...the upside opening of VMA's scalped & then DIL at the Grammy's with the moving human portrait & bird flying out at the end. but then things started getting more plain.

people say...she does the same thing....but what i want to understand is who else is doing anything different or above?? lol i'm sorry....but that was not a 2006 performance in no way and Bey slayed then too.

Britney didn't do anything last night that we haven't seen from her...Rihanna does not do anything different...Pink does the flying in the air every time....we know what to expect from Katy...so on & so forth. even the greats....MJ had all the legs, spins, kick, crotch grabs & choreography routines to every song as the same. Tina Turner had routines, etc.

but speaking of Britney...did anyone else get a Beyonce tea from her performance?? that looked like a low budget remake of BBMAs RTW 2011 in the beginning and then when she started performing...it looked like a 2008 Beyonce performance with the 2 dancers.

and that urine yellow leotard reminded me that Beyonce has the best leotards in the game...all of them are creative & well done.

Right. Bey performed in a pool on a stage for the first time on TV, but that was nothing new.
She cracked a camera with a bat, illustrated women being shot on stage, lit the stage around her on fire-all for the first time, but its nothing new. They just say **** just to say it because they can't come up with anything new to bitch about.

Exactly if their fave even did 20% of what Pink and Beyonce do on stage every time, they would be praised to high heavens and back

To me it feels like the strength of a black women even tho they just got shot the black man needs her to get up because he needs her . Then you go into hold up & sorry & DHY . Which makes sense because of how it's broken down into the film Denial Anger & Apathy those feelings are from a protector that's disrespected all the time ( motivate ya ass call me Malcom X ...
