Charli XCX performs on The Voice of Holland

After a week full promotion around Europe, in countries such as France, Belgium and Germany, Charli flew all the way to Holland to promote her single 'Tokyo lights' over there. People had been buzzing about Charli's first performance in holland for days and the hype was boosted by the advertisements for Sony and Redbull which were revealed earlier. Charli's songs have been topping the Holland charts ever since they were released as singles, first 'Alone in the Dark' a few weeks ago and more recently 'Tokyo Lights'. Charli performance on The Voice of Holland reached records by being the most watched episode of the season.
For the performance, Charli was wearing a pattern dress which showed a space like scene with the moon being surrounded by some aura. The main part of the dress was very short, looking more like a leotard but extensions showing the same pattern were added and the dress flew beautifully while Charli moved around. Charli's performance started when a few dancers arrived on stage, looking slightly mysterious. The did a few sudden moves while Charli slowly arrived on stage. Her voice was beautiful and the crowd started to sing along to the lyrics. Charli was singing the ballad version of the song so she didn;t move too much, the dancers danced gracefully, Charli looked like an angel amon some sort of aliens, because of the dancers' futuristic outfits.
The video of the performance uploaded to Youtube and many people already watched it bringing in almost 100,000 views in just a few hours after the performance happened. After Charli's performance, the sales of 'Tokyo Lights' were boosted and even Charli's album 'Devour My Heart' benefited from this Tokyo Lights performance. After the positive reaction by the crowd, the sony and redbull advertisements featuring the new version of 'Tokyo Lights' were played even more on TV and billboards.
