i amazed and impressed gaga and the current 'team' were able to get the xtina collab together spontaneously

Troy was never Gaga's main manager, he was simply the face of her management team because he, I believe, runs Atom Factory. Gaga's managers have always been Lane Bently, Bobby Campbell, and Troy. Troy left but Lane and Bobby remained (mind you, Bobby is also her marketing adviser and was behind BTW's promo). Lane is Gaga's day-to-day manager while Bobby flies out to where she is every now and then to talk about things. Troy on the other hand, again, was just the face of the team. He'd show up every now and then to where Gaga was but he wasn't the one dealing with things on a daily basis. The issue and only issue is the single change, in my opinion. It messed things up. Gaga agreed with Interscope and decided to switch the single so it threw a wrench in all of their plans. It's not fair to say things are "messed up" because she's not doing what you, someone who never managed a popstar before, think she should.
I think a lot of people aren't realizing that this album isn't Born This Way. The point of the promotion is not to be everywhere all at once because that's what hurt Gaga in 2011. Gaga is still in a phase where people get mad at the mere mention of her, so she can't promote everywhere because it won't work and will just piss people off.
Things have been pretty good since Gaga confirmed the split. The performances, starting at the AMAs, have been really good and she did so much promo in Japan. The year is new, Troy is gone and can no longer hold Gaga back, and the year started with a great remix that people are reacting nicely to. The only thing that's been a mess is the video, which I agree should've already been out. But we can't do anything about it.
(This is so long, I'm sorry.)

Singing in my Cher voice "all we see is REDDDDD!"
I wish she would also at least utilize the app for some of these versions of DWUW

This has been the best part of her ARTPOP era. Her performances in Japan were flawless and the Japanese people accepted her instantly. If only she could have gotten some last minute DWUW promo.. even if it would have flopped..
Yas at KIIS giving her what she wants. Applause still isn't in power rotation.. is it?

im not saying shes not promoting enough presently, its just alvum release week she literally had one performance, and it was GMA where she had already appeared that month. they didnt need BTW level promo but still
but refardless you're marginalizing one of the biggest, if not the major mistep, of the era thus far: the video not being out.. now perhaps thats not due to troy, but during BTW era we never ever had to worry about logistical things like timing of video releases. they all happened fluidly and appropriately. yes the single change can be partially to blame but even then its her management's fault that they agreed to Venus in the first place. plus even once it was changed, it's not like it takes 2 months to film/prep a video for release.
her team hasnt been compeltely incompetent lately, prime example being The Voice promo & this remix, and if u say thats because she still has the same core management shes always had, i believe you. but that doesnt excuse the video issue

I seriously can't understand what's the matter with the video?
It's completed for sure - no mv takes that long to be completed
it's either they want to add Rick Ross and Christina to the video, or they're having legal issues, or they're just dumb
