I think I would have gone with:
1) Marry the Night - to introduce the rock and 80s influences on Born This Way. It would have smashed
1.5) release the title track as a promo/itunes countdown single
2) Hair - to capitalize on the 80s revival that was full blown by the time of the second single.
3) Yoü and I - A change of pace from the other two singles.
4) Edge of Glory - Finish up the era with her best song and to perfectly set up the next era.
They all would have rightfully gone to number 1 I think. She could have had so many from that album.
