To be fair, SM is ALWAYS doing what I-fans want regarding their comebacks. They always pick the song that was produced/written by someone of relevance, therefor they feel like they have to put it out as a title, hoping it will smash and still appeal to fans globally as well.
For all we know Red Velvet could pull a Davichi on us and smash. Doesn't Korea eat up ballady songs, and shouldn't that be more important to SM?
Hmmm I think korea prefers ballads from solo artists only. They expect groups to release catchy midtempo to uptempo songs.
But right now charts are filled with ballads I don't know if there's a place for a ballad from Red Velvet...

Sigh
I try to prevent myself entering "Is Not Liking K-Pop Racist ?" thread because I know damn well the answers will be so sh*tty and ignorant, but I still enter
How these people think Western Pop is above K-Pop and J-Pop just because they don't understand the language and the stereotype behind that is never fail to amaze me
Pop music is always about the 'fun' factor, and K-Pop lately always serve that
Western pop in the other hand, are going downhill, especially with the awakening of Hip-Hop / Trap (not that I hate Hip Hop, but seriously some "Hip-hop" artist that popular today are so sh*tty)... Where is the fun ? Where is the melody ? Where is the catchy hook ? Where is the visual ?
This still remains one of my favorite Miss A performances.. i would love this cover to been an actual release.. i hope they will CB with a hard choreography .. Only U was cute but i expect more of Korea's best dancing group...
Lemme QUOTE this so that I can watch it later.
