But that's a good thing because that's the sign of a timeless artist....that you can go see them live and they didnt even play a few of their greatest hits, but you didnt notice or care, because their newer stuff, or deeper stuff excites you that much.

I first started following Taylor during Speak Now. I remember I predicted Mine to perform kinda badly in charts. I was correct

And then all her promotional singles on Speak Now topped iTunes

After 2 years, it happened again. And it was more successful

I hope Era 5 will surpass Red's success or at least Speak Now's quality

You are right, the most exciting thing about Taylor is her growth as an artist.
I remember Rolling Stone magazine (If I'm not mistaken) said something like it's one of the most important adventures in music history to see Taylor growing or something like that.

I disagree that Red was the peak....I think Red was just a prelude to this era, which will logically be the peak. I bet you that a big stadium rock/danceable pop sound will carry across cultures more than country pop ever did.

Who are the biggest touring acts in the history of the world? Michael Jackson, Beatles, Madonna, Bruce, U2, etc. This is where Taylor is reaching....she just needed a bigger sound, and it sounds like it is coming.

and I actually give Taylor enough credit as a songwriter to be able to create a commercial friendly sound with well-written songs.
