12일 오후 방송 관계자에 따르면 손담비의 아버지가 지병을 앓던 중 세상을 떠났다. 아버지가 오랜 시간 지병을 앓고 있던 터라 손담비는 아버지의 병간호에 항상 신경 썼던 것으로 알려졌다.
이 관계자는 TV리포트에 “10분 전에 전화를 받았다. 지금 빈소로 이동 중이다”면서 “손담비가 아버지의 병간호를 위해 일부러 많은 스케줄을 소화하지 않았던 것으로 알고 있다”고 전했다.
또 “손담비가 칠순이 넘으신 아버지를 향한 마음이 각별했다. 돌아가셨다는 소식을 들으니 정말 안타깝다”고 덧붙였다.
손담비는 현재 MBC every1 ‘손담비의 Beautiful Days 시즌2’ MC를 맡아 진행 중이다.
