I agree about the lower ticket prices, but the tour also needs to be profitable for the aritst, managerment, venue, promotor etc. I have a feeling that even with ticket prices higher than his current state of radio play the show itself will make up for it.
I'll admit I'm not a huge Usher fan outside the singles and a a few album songs from 8701 and onwards, but I did see the OMG Tour and he was amazing, and his stage presence and the stage itself always delivers.

Obviously he wants profit because he is booking huge arena's and going for ALL radio interviews, but how does he expect tickets to sell when he doesn't have a strong single? Usher should realize that his fans are not like Beyonce fans, they aren't as faithful as the rest, they won't buy tickets or music if they aren't impressed.

It seems to be true. Compared to other tours, this one is a bit quiet. Radio interviews don't really do that much.

He has done radio interviews, twitter Q & A, Ellen, Today show, Iheartradio etc. The truth is that he really turned alot of folks off with his un-seriousness and no matter how many promo he does many folks have lost interest and aren't inspired enough to purchase tickets. The Vma according to what I have read on some sites sealed the deal for them.

He only did that ninja thing on Ellen,
He shouldve done real promotion on tv shows. Performing his strong lead single, which is non existing, and do an interview about the tour and his new music.

I don't even know if that would help. He has to re-establish himself because at the rate he is going, he is diminishing his legacy, he should be at the level were radio dj's (charlamange) fear him and his appearance on rare shows should be a big deal like Beyonce, JT etc. C'mon this is the guy who sold 10 Million albums, he should be a freaking big deal even more than Adele.
