For a Spanish album it's smashing internationally! It could do even better if Epic Records were to do their job and promote and release a second single already.

I don't know how reliable this site is, but this is what it says:
Shakira will record a clip in Brasil (in the same time of the pop festival: 15-19 of March).
The producers of the clip are already casting the two models who will support Shakira in the video.

Stone leaves RCA to set up Outside Edge
RCA head of press Shoshanna Stone joins Outside Organization next Monday (January 31) to set up a new multimedia-media PR division Outside Edge.
She will take with her a number of Sony artists including Britney Spears, Shakira, Usher and John Legend as initial clients.
Outside Edge will look after press TV and online for its clients in a move designed to reflect the increasingly multi-platform nature of communications.
“I have loved my time at Sony, and have been so fortunate to look after some very loyal artists,” said Stone.
Her move means former Polydor PR Chloe Melick joins RCA as acting head of press. Meanwhile, fellow Sony label Columbia has appointed former Mercury senior publicity manager Louise Mayne as head of press, replacing James Hopkins, who is leaving to set up the UK office for Vector Management (home to Kings of Leon, Kesha, Kid Rock and The Fray among others).
Maybe this will improve UK promotion? UK could be another country Shakira could be dominating with good promotion!

I know, I don't know what's going on with the promotional efforts in The UK. "Sale El Sol" is doing so amazing internationally with 1 single. Could you imagine how much this album would have sold by now, if she wasn't touring and had time to fully promote the album overseas?
