Not really. AL just feels like the natural extension to the folk and glitchy electropop of Music, just more serious in subject matter. Honestly it might be the least she evolved in between records since Debut to LAV. I think that is actually my main issue with AL, is that it felt like the first time in her career that she was kind of stagnant.
