Even if that's just hyperbole, I don't know what to think about that.
I have visited the states quite a few times, a bit perturbed by ammo aisles and stuff but always felt totally safe. I wouldn't like to visit anytime soon, though, and being a minority seems much tougher over there.
Looking at those details from his fax, he was obviously a deeply disturbed man in the first place - showing admiration for mass killers, going as far as to rank them in "how many they got" - the church killings sent him over the edge and triggered an episode. I am a bit stunned.

Race relations in America are only going to take a turn for the worst in the coming years if something isn't done in this next presidential run.
RIP to the victims, and it's SO disgusting and disturbing the fact that he taped it
