I think she's one of those people that thinks you have to perform a rock song a certain way and an R&B song another way. When she does a ballad she's really solemn and turns into a vocalist. When she does Dance or Urban she's really choreographed. But when she does a more rock-oriented song she becomes too wild, she probably thinks that makes it more genuine. Idk.

She has to become a bit more calculated when she's doing a number without choreo, because she wont find consistency until she does.

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. The majority of the GP weren't checking for this. They won't even be aware of 'American Oxygen' unless it becomes a single and gets played on the radio. This is one of those things that Rihanna's haters will still be using against her in the year 2024, when most of the world isn't even aware that it's happened, right now when it's supposed to be big news.

This was a bad performance. Yeah, the band ****ed up and were out of sync with the feed in her ear, but that's also kind of her fault for not rehearsing enough.

I really like that her stans can admit this was bad though. I've seen so many "the navy are so delusional " posts on ATRL in the past few weeks, and the fact of the matter is, I feel like I see the navy dragging her as much as the hive do

I agree that the GP will probably not care or hold this against her, but is that really the solution here? ... the GP being too dumb to care about talent / live performance and relying more on image and studio production?

Regardless of if the GP knows this or not, the fact is that WE know this exists. For someone of her calibre she really should be giving us a much better performance. She is without a doubt one of the BIGGEST stars in the world and in pop music she is arguably the biggest. And yet she cant even nail one song in a 30+ minute performance?

Regardless of if the GP knows this or not, the fact is that WE know this exists. For someone of her calibre she really should be giving us a much better performance. Adele sang without reverb at the Oscars, wasn't that good- Lana sung without ear plugs at SNL, wasn't that good,.Beyonce didn't sing live in front of the president, wasn't that good. Rihanna had obviously sound problems, wasn't that good, you're all too dramatic.

Rihanna is my 2nd fave but yesterday she was atrocious. She was so high she forgot lyrics. Her vocals were AWFUL. The outfit was cheap and boring. The stage presence was uninspired. SOMEONE HAS TO HELP HER.
