Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm sure Bruno always has trouble to start his eras... Like it takes time to his first singles to catch on and then the rest explode fast and the slayage begins. I kinda think this era is gonna be different thanks to this. People will take UF as his lead and his lead single as his second single and he will sell more first week.
Maybe I'm wrong but I'm being thinking a lot about this lately. I'm so happy for him (and Mark too of course)
Yea I also think his third era will start strong. The superbowl half time performance did help him a lot.
So... the sales in UK are even higher than I originally thought,

Number one for the second week in a row and the third time in four weeks, Uptown Funk! continues to sell at a rapid pace for Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars, shifting a further 156,335 copies (including a record 25,551 streaming sales) to remain on course for a rapid million sale, with a to-date tally of 643,957.
The big digital tracks in Canada this week are Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk” with a solid 50,000 downloads in the last week, followed by Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” (43,000) and Hozier’s “Take Me to Church” (41,000). Those are very high weekly numbers for this country. And when it comes to streaming in Canada, it’s “Blank Space” in the #1 slot with 1,014,740 listens.
Bruno and Mark are going to perform on Ellen 15 Jan. I realize that Mark's label is only thinking about US success right now that's why they are ignoring rest of the world.

Well he's been doing Radio interviews but no actual performances of UF or any other songs released from the album so far but I guess there is no need, UF has topped a lot of charts WW and they want the #1 in the US.
Uptown Funk really doesnt feel that big here. At least not as big as those numbers are. Blank Space feels bigger and that isnt even a #1 so. Its quite weird.

Oh is that mean BS is the one get overplayed on radio and tv, but UK people buy and stream UF instead?
Kings need no promo indeed.
