Céline Dion + Double G Attend Taylor’s Birthday Party
Céline Dion, and surprisingly Double G (Georgie Skai, owner of Revolution Records) attended Taylor Swift’s birthday party today. They walked into the venue, holding hands and speaking with the press before entering.
“I’m so excited to be here,” Céline beamed to the press. “Taylor and I don’t really know each other but it’s always good to come and support someone and I also came with Georgie Skai over here, well actually Double G, that’s his artist name or whatever to wish Taylor a Happy Birthday.”
“I’m not here to perform or anything,” Double G humored, “I’m friends Taylor’s boss so I came out tonight to support them both and party just a bit!”
Céline and Georgie danced all night long and got to meet Taylor in person for short minute. Céline also went up on stage to perform something very special for Taylor.
“Well, Taylor and I aren’t really close, but I’d like to perform something very special for her and all of you tonight.”
A Revolution Records guitarist quickly came up on-stage with two stools — him and Céline both sat down on the stools and Céline glimmered into the audience.
“This one’s a little country-fied version of Ratchette. I hope you like it very much.”
The guitar began to strum beaming chords, as Céline performed a guitar-acoustic version of her new single. Céline switched up some of the lyrics to make it more oriented about Taylor and to showcase more empowerment in the song. The vocals were stunning and the crowd was very surprised with the performance. She ended with a sweet ‘Happy Birthday’ to Taylor and exited the stage. For the remainder of the night, Céline + Double G just danced and watched the performances.
“It was an incredible party!” both cheered on their way back home, “The coolest night ever!"
