I guess it just goes to show The Power of Gaga when the haters are celebrating "a flop" with her debuting at #1 with more than a 1/4 million records sold.

The same thing happened with Applause. Katy Perry fans celebrated the flop, and then it became a huge radio smash and now it's actually above Roar on radio. Do What U Want is slaying Unconditionally and is actually growing on iTunes while the latter has red updates.

But enjoy your delusions, haters. This is not 2011. Gaga learned a lesson from overexposing herself early BTW era. This is exactly as planned.

Above Roar on POP radio. True. I mean, will Applause ever net 17,000 like Roar did? Will it spend multiple weeks at #1 like Roar did? Of course, Applause would pass Roar considering that she has her second single, UC, gaining swiftly at pop radio.

You're right, DWUW is above UC at the moment. Let's see where it ends up next week. We all recalled that Die Young was ahead of Diamonds for weeks.
