What she does in Double Bubble Trouble should be studied. She navigates like 10 different genres/beats there and the song still sounds one and fresh as all hell. I'm beyond in love with it.

Just finished, FLOORED. Every song is atleast a 8/10 with the exception of Lights which is the only song I wasn't really feeling. Double Bubble Trouble is out of this world.

I have no idea how I feel about the Weeknd tracks. They're definitely different from typical M.I.A. but I can't decide if I like it or not. Interesting too how they both divide up the album into a beginning and ending.

In regards to the album as a whole I LOVE IT. MAYA is the only album of hers I'm not really keen on (it may grow on me yet) so I'm pleased Matangi was an instant hit. For me at least. I do get what you are all saying with Come Walk With Me messing with the album flow but I still love the song. And it's so weird to hear Bad Girls as part of an album. It always seemed like it'd just be a single.

It's hard to list the songs that I like because... I truly love a lot of them. For most of the reasons the rest of you are liking certain songs.

ALTHOUGH I'm ready for the mixtape already. I NEED THAT SONG from the Kenzo mix with the "I'm thankful for ma MOUTH... but most of all I'm thankful for MY POWER" that song seemed killer.

I honestly LOVE almost everything.

The only dislike is Come Walk With Me but on a third listen it's sounding better already.

The absolute standouts are Boom Skit, Double Bubble Trouble and Y.A.L.A. To think there's also Bad Girls before Boom Skit this is an insane sequence of songs. 10/10/10/10.

aTENTion is also great, especially after reading The Guardian's review.
