hmm...although I agree that Chris Brown is incredibly arrogant and not that talented, his choice of songs has gotten him some success. I enjoyed "Run It" back in September/October before it got way overplayed and "Gimme That" is one of my favorites right now. Basically, I do agree that Chris Brown is not that great, but he releases the right tracks, which Mario, Omarion...etc. (same style) are lacking.

I seriously don't understand the infatuation people have with Chris Brown. He strains and whines when he sings, his dancing lacks much coordination, he barely has any writing credits, he's extremely manufactured, (like someone else said) he's arrogant, and his album is FILLED with filler.

He is getting MAJOR promo though. He often has televised performances and appearances on major networks, he gets NON-STOP promo on BET, and his music is overplayed on radio. Too bad Jive decided not to be lazy with Chris Brown. They had plenty of people far more worthy of a record deal than Brown.
