Whenever You Call is god-awful. 4th of July is great, but it's a remake of Underneath the Stars, though not nearly as good.

Looking In and I Am Free are the worst songs on DD. Total filler.

Siding with Doc here - Looking In and I Am Free are the only STRONG album tracks on Daydream. The Babyface productions ... proved he worked better with Whitney and Madonna.

But when I come back here tomorrow, I want to see some answers. I've been wondering this for the longest. My All is one of my all time favorite Mariah songs/singles/videos. WHY does it seem like everyone hates it?
It just doesn't FIT on Butterfly. It sticks out like a sore thumb.
Originally written for Gloria Estefan, but Mariah (or more likely Tommy) decided to keep it for herself. The rest is history, isn't it? One of her most iconic and long lasting songs - she even sang it at President Obama's inauguration.
But that doesn't make it great, does it? It's barely good; in its efforts to reach everyone, it lacks the specificity of Make It Happen or Outside (or even Anytime You Need a Friend), and comes off as a bit hollow.
