The only thing Britney has over Christina is digital sales. They both are successful tour artists, so she's not owning my fave in any kind of way, so bewp.

Ah, but here's the thing, your faves last album sold 3.7 M copies and it was released in 2006 and had more promo. Circus sold 3.3M copies and was released in 2008 with minimal promo. Also, in the USA both album sold 1.6M copies, the difference is that one album was released in 2006 and was heavily promoted and the other in late 08 with only a promotion on ONE tv show.
Now, let's do a rough estimation, the album sales decline between 2006-2008 should be around 25%.
Here's some maths for you:
Had Back to Basics been released at the same time as Circus, what would it have sold?
You want answeres? Well, here's a very interesting post I found over on Livedaily:

Alright, so I did some maths of my own by following you guys equation. I worked out how much B2B would have sold had it been released around the time of Circus.
I worked out 25% of 3.7 million and I got 0.925, and I subtracted it from 3.7 million. You wanna know what I got? 2.775. So B2B would have sold 2.775 million had it been released at the same time as Circus.
So, lets get this straight:
Circus: 3.3 million copies
B2B: 2.7 million copies had it been released around the same time as Circus.
So, Britney would have outsold Christina by 600k. When you consider how much promo Christina did and compare it to the little promo Britney did, I would say that was pretty impressive of Britney.
Now, you guys are going to see this with your own two eyes when bothe their next albums are released at the same time.
Just like Circus dragged B2B, Christina will be dragged by her 1 inch bangs by Britney in 2010. Mark my words.
