first and foremost, i MUST address the sad BANNING of Remember... he continues his near perfect streak of quitting and/or being banned before the end of ANY competition he participates in.
now it's time to crown this round's queen bee!
our queen bee this round has ONCE AGAIN come out on top. this should come as no surprise to most of you....
Doc!
congratulations AGAIN! your entry impressed the highest number of voters this round! you are this round's queen bee (and receive immunity from elimination next round)! if you keep this up you just might win the whole thing!
with that out of the way, it's time to announce the contestant who received the most number of votes for the "bottom 3." since remember was already banned, only ONE contestant will go home this round. you will become part of "the janices" and will still be able to participate in the burn book and vote in later rounds, but you will not be creating entries for the competition.
i'm sorry, your entry just didn't stack up with the majority of voters. personally, i felt it was a bit rushed and lazy... there was one other contestant who received the same number of bottom 3 votes as you did, but they also received ONE vote as someone's favorite, so they placed just above you. i will miss you, but i do hope you remain a part of the competition as a part of the janices!
the next challenge will be posted tomorrow night after i get home from work!
as you all know, we lost a legend this past weekend. the beautiful and talented whitney houston is no longer with us. however, in one of her final captured moments of life, she gave a note to brandy (which you can see in the video below):
your task for this challenge is to create your own version of what was in that note... this challenge is not going to be easy because you must make sure your entry doesn't insult the memory of the legendary miss houston!
be sure to make your entry stand out, whether it be through use of formatting, graphics, design, etc. i was slightly disappointed in some of the entries last round, so for those of you who didn't give your best, STEP IT UP! just don't overthink your entry or make it too complicated. it doesn't have to be a LONG letter... it can be a simple statement, a picture, whatever. this is your chance to be imaginative.
your entry is due by 11:59pm pacific standard time on monday, february 20th. that should give you plenty of time!
once again, your submission for this round does NOT need to be approved by your mentor. however, you might want to do so to get a second opinion before submitting! remember, your mentor is there to help!
bring it hard this round, because if you don't it could be your LAST!
