USHER - My Way AVERAGE: 6.75
A very underrated track by Usher that I'm sad to see go. I love the song for the most part but the chorus dominates the entire song but still not much negatives here. The music video was great too. My rating: 7.
USHER - DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love
ft/ Pitbull AVERAGE: 6.88
But Pitbull though? This is my least favorite and my lowest rating song from Usher ever. I understand what he did here but no... it was hard for me to get into it and realize that Usher would stoop this low and I'm still trying now with the Looking 4 Myself era. (But wait, hold on... OMG shat tbh ) My rating: 3.
CHRIS BROWN – She Ain’t You AVERAGE: 6.71
Chris payed homage to his idol with this song and def. in the music video. It's really nice. Only negatives here are the lyrics - could have been stronger if you're sampling the King's Human Nature. I really enjoyed Se7en's voice in the backing though (I'm sure most of you don't even know who that is). My rating: 8.
I gave this song a 1 as well!
I hate this basic urban single! What was the point of this song existing? How this made it further than any single from his debut is beyond me. Chris' positions are all over the place. His best songs getting out first & FILTHY TRASH like this hanging in there. DEATH @ 9 10s! I really can't.
This is going wonderfully! So much Chris Brown TRASH is getting kicked to the curb, especially that heinous vocal performance in "Yo (Excuse Me Miss)."
"DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love" is a complete bore. I am not sorry to see it go.
Usher has proven to be able to follow (and succeed) with the sound that's very popular in today's music. But he just couldn't please the voters on this one. They prefer his other stuff.
Weird as it sounds... I actually prefer the Red One Remix, that knocks even though it’s more generic. The original instrumental is too basic but I like his delivery in the verses. But overall this is not what I'm checking for when I want to listen to Usher. My rating: 4.
CHRIS BROWN - Superhuman
ft/ Keri Hilson AVERAGE: 5.79
Come on now, is it that bad? Not the greatest vocalist to be doing a duet ballad but I thought for their standards they sounded good and meshed well. My only problem is some of the lyrics... just what the **** are they talking about half of the time? But whatever it’s a nice song. My rating: 7.
I've just noticed how scared Keri looks in the cap.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE – Hallelujah AVERAGE: 5.86
If you're familiar with these rates cover songs don't make it far. Hallelujah will just have to join the club but I think it's at a decent placement in respect to other solo songs in the rate. I would give it a perfect 10 otherwise.
But Justin really delivered here; very emotional, and moving. It was the most memorable performance and most downloaded song out of the Hope For Haiti Now benefit. Also up there as one of the best covers of the song. My rating: 8.
USHER - Papers AVERAGE: 5.97
If we take you know who out of the picture and focus on the music itself, I prefer Here I Stand over this any day. But Papers isn’t bad at all, it’s the most relevant and meaningful song in his life atm. Nearly three years after, his custody of his children is up for grabs but he’s still making music for his fans aside from dealing with his personal issues. My rating: 6.
JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE - Still On My Brain AVERAGE: 5.87
Whoever voted at least 7 the minimum and above has taste, really. But it had a nice run for a song that you guys aren’t so familiar with (a non-single that charted). He gave you a dash of soothing R&B and a great vocal performance. Just absolutely beautiful.
jinzo will seethe some more later down the list cause’ Britney ain’t done getting mentioned and dragged yet My rating: 10.
That song is garbage and critics dragged it for filth (rightfully so):

In this song, Brown is exceptionally insufferable, conveying that his unimaginable wealth and social privileges are no consolation for being put through the ringer. “Even though I’m so damaged, I gotta pick myself up and perform for the crowd” is capped with “You don’t even know how hard it is, do you?” He also lets his listeners know that he has had to do photo shoots when he has not felt like smiling, and that he has “given up everything in exchange for being alone.” Maybe his supporters should be considerate and assist in putting the young man out of his misery. If they stop purchasing his recordings, concert tickets, and merchandise, the evil entertainment industry, all media outlets, and predatorial heartbreakers will lose interest and loosen their grip on him.
