I think I posted a video or interview where she states that she was in the early stages of writing for the new album but was not ready to move on from Halcyon.

Didn't she post Hanging On to Soundcloud before she announced Halcyon? If so Life Round Here might be a sign that she actively working on the new album ( I hope).

But there are already ELEVEN videos from H/D (13 if you count Under Control and the second HLWILY). How much more can they drag it out?

Ellie makes the most random videos, I swear. I could see at least one more single after Goodness Gracious. Then release the lead single of the new album in the new year? Idk.

Since she releases so many songs all the time, I can't really see her slowing down.

Who knows but they kinda should considering it's still hovering in the top 150 of iTunes from just commercial exposure. Put her on SNL in a couple weeks and let her sing Explosions and Goodness Gracious.

I think with this movie trailer and a Great performance of the song Explosions would surprise us and be a decent hit.

Ugh I just read that Ellie Goulding turned down the chance to perform at the Olympic opening ceremony due to Russia's anti-gay laws. I mean, I get why but it could have been SOOOO beneficial to her career in the entire world.

In the end its probably a good thing she turned down the opportunity. People would drag her to hell and back if she had chose to perform there.
