Ideally:
Top 3: Wasted, Blown Away, Jesus Take The Wheel
Next 3: So Small, Two Black Cadillacs, I Know You Won't
Bottom 2: Just A Dream, See You Again
More likely:
Top 3: Jesus Take The Wheel, Blown Away, Wasted
Next 3: See You Again, So Small, Just A Dream
Bottom 2: I Know You Won't, Two Black Cadillacs
See You Again isn't making the top 3 (top 5?) after the score I gave it.
I gave 10s to half of the top 8, and I only gave 10 10s total.
The last album track remaining in this rate, I Know You Won't, is the first song to be eliminated tonight. Deemed by many as Carrie's best song, I Know You Won't is one of those songs that when you hear it - you automatically think of Carrie. Her vocals are yet to be matched with this song, some fans like to claim other's covers are better but the truth is nobody beats the original. I Know You won't has been performed at every concert since the Carnival Ride Tour and has made it's way into the set list at several Opry appearances and small televised concerts. If released as a single it may have been another career defying move for Carrie, but it'll have to settle as the gem on Carnival Ride's track list that never saw the light of day as a single.
The song that turned Carrie into a mega-star, broke records everywhere and became an instant classic fails to reach the top five. Before He Cheats is Carrie's most successful single to date peaking at #1 on the Hot Country Songs for five weeks, Top 5 in Canada and on Adult Pop songs and top 10 on the BB Hot 100, Pop Songs and Adult Contemporary Charts - all with natural crossover play with no remix necessary. It also went on to earn Carrie Best Country Vocal Performance for a Female at the 2008 Grammy ceremony along with Best Country Song to the writers. It went on to win Record of the Year at the CMAs and Choice Country Song at the People's Choice Award. It's also one of the longest charting songs on the Billboard Hot 100 with 64 consecutive weeks. It is also Carrie's best selling single with 3.8M copies sold in the U.S alone. A classic yet to be topped.
