They are not throwing them because they have red crosses, how about not believing everything you read on internet. They are refusing them because they are being blocked at the border, they don't want the food, they want to be allowed to travel freely to somewhere like germany. Why would you leave your wife and kids back in a hostile environment without being able to offering them protection in any way, that doesn't make sense to me.

Anyhow I think there needs to be a distinction between people coming from Syria or nations around it fleeing from ISIS and immigrants like these.

Aren't their children hungry? They should take the food at least for the kids.

And why should they be allowed to travell freely across 5-6 countries without any kind of control?

Well, I'm sure there are extremists who also refuse the food because it comes from the red cross

And what I find appaling is some on that French video that Nialler posted refusing the food and THROWING IT to the ground because the expiration date was last year, yeah they could have gotten new food but from what that woman said, that food was edible for at least another two years....

Usually it's children with their protectors (usually women, due to cultural reasoning) who flee for their lives first (as children are the future and need to be protected above anything else) and men try to fight off the danger. Then, if all fails, they run. At least that's the way my country did it when Nazis/Soviets attacked. Oh, well.

Anyway, the truth is always somewhere in between, we just have to be critical towards ALL sources of information. The migrants aren't saints, but neither is the mess of the Hungarian government.

Well, there are many governments in between that don't show the respect that every human being in need deserves. I'm not necessarily talking about countries between Syria and Germany anyway. I'm also talking about countries like UK and Poland. They made it clear that these people aren't welcome there. I'm sure the UK will take more refugees in and they will probably respect them in the end but there will always be a bad aftertaste, don't you think? I wouldn't feel secure, home and welcome there. That's why I would go to countries that are willing to help. -> Austria, Germany
