Am a bit unsure as to why this gem has left about twenty spots too early but alas. Produced by Dallas Austin, the same man that gave her Trick Me, it's really exquisite. The contrast from the pulsating and punching verses to the quiet whistles and birds of the pre-chorus and back again. One of the most instant tracks on here and proof that Kelis wasn't going to just stick with a single sound, even per album. Ambitious but refined beyond her past forays into the sound.

First of all, this hating ass bitch, ECNEICSNOC dared to ask me "How is this still in?!" Because we have taste, luckily karma will sucker punch you. Every other comment was praising it, Perfect Day stan Diarrhoea especially, "One of her most explosive songs ever, loves it. At first I thought that the lyrics were kinda weak, but now I think that they work perfectly." Keep it down is what I tell that bitch up there to do with the unwanted hating. HonourableVomit thinks "this is her best foray into rock imo" but is that difficult? It takes suspesnion of disbelief for Eevee, "Hmm, this should def NOT work, yet somehow she pulls it off??? Queen of rock." She can do A-NY-THING.

This grew on me increasingly over the voting period, at first I gave it a 1 and I bumped it up from a 4 to a 6 right before I sent in my scores. I'd have given it at least an 7 had I submitted now.

Initially I found that contrast SUPER grating, but it began to click with me when I saw someone say that it was reminiscent of an Xenomania production.

Very cute and VERY catchy, this is a technically good track but it doesn't come across as full Kelis. It's Richard X with Kelis vocals layered on top. The monotone-ish/robotic delivery might work on this for some of you but I don't feel it. Still a good track though, but maybe not Top 40...

It was a Top 10 for her in the UK though! Her second, three years after Caught Out There. It preceded the Tasty era a few months so it was a nice reintroduction before the slay that was to follow.

Diarrhoea also doesn't feel the Kelis flavour here, "It doesn't sound v/ Kelis, but slay a bit anyway! Richard X's off-moments are still great." HonourableVomit can dance to it, calling it a "bop and a half." Latinazza is a big fan, thinking it is "her second best after the criminally ignored "Honey" with King Moby." Well, both are better than the last collab we kicked out!
