Drag us Capricorns. Rightfully so too. Us and our expectations...

My Libra MC is spot on besides the fact that I don't post selfies, but if I did, I'd be like that. As Stevie was saying, I recently watched Alyssa Sharpe's video on Libra MC and it was also quite accurate for me too, and she discussed how MC = internet persona. I think there's quite a bit of truth in the theory. It makes sense tbh.

Lately I've been super interested in Venus Signs. My Venus is in Aquarius which is totally me. Aquarius Venus' need for freedom + being Capricorn dominant with a Cancer Moon is such a struggle though, I just can't make up my mind on what I want from another person.
What are all of your Venus Signs?

The MC does influence your internet 'persona'. It's not superficial, though. It's a part of your chart, just like your Sun.
I have a Gemini MC with Mercury in conjunction and it's a little psychotic. The idea of having the same career for 20 years disgusts me.

I have Venus (and Sun) in Cancer and its constant need for security really prevents me from getting close to people at first. I'm either extremely guarded and reserved - and private - about my love life or insanely passionate and head over heels. It's bat **** crazy. Loyalty is a priority in my book. This contradicts my Mars in Virgo in some ways. I love my Mars but its hypercritical nature has endowed me with a tendency to be extremely harsh and finicky.
Anyway, does your Venus in Aquarius make you aloof and detached?

So many Libras here
I still can't figure my chart out, especially some key inconjuncts I have between important planets - Sun/Moon and Moon/Pluto in particular. Some say that inconjuncts isn't a very important aspect, but I feel it a lot.
All the Pluto (which I have a lot of in my chart) is causing a lot of confusion too. If anyone wants help me out with my chart, I will be glad to post it.

Is there an online service where you can be analysed by your birth chart? I'm down for some more of my own tea scalding me.
Def gonna check out that Alyssa Sharpe girl on YT and maybe some other vids to understand Astrology better!

Oh my god, Venus in Cancer sounds like a pain My Cancer moon is enough for me, thank you.
My Venus in Aquarius definitely makes me quite aloof and distant, made even worse by my huge Capricorn influence. Lots of walls.
I read that Venus in Aquarius people tend to just have a sudden shift in their view of a relationship or friendship, and suddenly they're completely disinterested, which always happens to me Someone I would consider a close friend can change to someone I don't like in seconds, to someone I can't stand in days. Venus in Aquarius also like online interaction because they can connect to many while keeping a distance, which is so me.
I really love having Venus in Aquarius, but like I said, there's a lot of conflict with my Venus in Aquarius and my Capricorn and Cancer influences, which is annoying. For example, I love connecting with other people and can get quite bored when I'm not connecting with someone new, and on the one hand I'm very energised by other people, but on the other, social interaction just drains me and eventually I just get fed up with the whole idea of other people. I also really never know what I want from a relationship, because the thought of being tied down just stresses me out, but having Cancer and Capricorn (and Jupiter in Pisces too actually), I also want a safe, loving, steady relationship with someone I can rely on, so it's like...

I also have Venus in Aquarius and the description you laid out there is exactly how I am too. I'm also a Capricorn, so I understand when you say 'lots of walls'. Interesting point about the online connection, and definitely makes a lot of sense! I'm one of those people who has a large number of friends and can connect to a lot of people at once but I wouldn't say I have a particularly close connection with anyone as I'm always too distant and guarded for that.
And mess, I also have Jupiter in Pisces. What's poignant about that pairing?

Ah, I'm glad theres someone else who understands the struggle. Do you also find yourself kind of panicking when you've found you've suddenly got too many people around you? For example, if I suddenly add 2 new people to my life, I get panicked and stressed because I think about how "what if I don't like them after all and I have to deal with this person in my life that I no longer want" or I feel like I've being spread too thinly or somehow exposed in a way, and then I instantly start thinking of how to get out of the situation. Or is that just me in this case?
From what I know, Jupiter is in the same sign for a few years (?) and so it's quite common among an age range, but Alyssa Sharpe's video on Saturn in Pisces really hit home with me, especially when she said that we could end up looking for someone older to ground us and control some of the internal chaos and the chaos around us. I really related.

That's actually quite interesting, I would figure Sag and Gemini would get on quite well. Is it common for Sagittarians and Gemini to not be compatible? What exactly about Sagittarians don't you get on with?

I fell out with my best friend because she's unpredictable, never showcases her true intentions and or feelings, she never puts any effort into any friendship whatsoever, expects all her friends to always text and call her first. It's minor things but they all seem to be Sagittarian character traits.

I don't necessarily panic or worry about disliking someone because I known I can be cold enough to drift from them whenever I want (even if it takes a while). That's also mainly due to my lack of having deep friendships where I'm totally stuck with a single person. I do get really stressed when I feel drawn out or exposed in some way though, especially when there's too many people around. I sort of collapse into myself even more when that happens and I get kinda flustered and lost, I just want OUT if you know what I mean?
As a fellow Cap, how do you usually react to insults/criticisms/jibes? I'm interested to see if we react similarly or not.

Hm, my best friend is a Sagittarius but other than hiding his feelings, he isn't like this at all. But he does have a Capricorn Moon and Virgo ASC with a Gemini MC, so maybe the earth in his chart grounds him a little.

Mess @ it basically reading you for a horny fetishist. Is it accuraTe?
I'm Mars in Libra. It's very accurate. I laughed at the Jay Gatsby comparison as I was just thinking the other day how I identify with him a little bit.

With my Cancer moon, I often feel bad for being cold so I wouldn't be able to ice someone out like that unless I really can't stand them. I definitely know what you mean though, I recently started a new job and making friends with the other employees there has been so stressful. Between being "on" and trying not to be boring along with not collapsing in on myself, coming across as rude and resisting the urge to run, a mess.
Well, insults I can brush off most of the time. I wouldn't get fight back (perhaps a few cutting words if the insult was particularly rude or hurtful). I can take insults personally sometimes, it depends, but it would only be internally, the person wouldn't know I was hurt. In that case, it'd stick with me for a few hours/days but then I'd brush the hurt off and move on. Criticism on the other hand, I instantly take to heart. Someone saying I'm not doing something well enough instantly gets to me, it's one of my soft spots. And I'll hold onto it for a while too. Generally I'm pretty tough and untouchable unless the person stumbles upon one of my soft spots, in which case I instantly get aggressive and defensive. My friend (jokingly) told me I'm close minded the other day and I had a few chosen words to say. I was so pissed.

So that's that on that.
Mars in Libra better slay with the charm though. And if it wasn't blessed enough, not Zac Efron and Whitney Houston having Mars in Libra too.

Keeping it classy girl!
And yes, such a fabulous list. Whitney is a star despite being notorious for her charming ways.
In regards to being insulted or critiqued, I'm pretty much the same as you. I suppose it depends on the circumstances. My sense of humor and chill way about life usually brushes **** off, but I can be deeply affected by certain things and would try and hide it (unless I'm pushed to the limit, where I then totally flip).
