Yeah it's very clearly a pop song, which is totally fine because Mariah works amazing with pop, her vocals take ordinary tracks to the next level. But this is really, really nice, 3rd listen and I'm already hooked. I'm impressed, and even if it's not a success she can still say she put out a really good single.
Not here for that weak grower trash for pre-teens. This is an age appropriate grower / future classic for all to enjoy
Touch My Body wasn't as good as her best stuff on Emancipation like Stay the Night, but it was still amazing. This might be better though, I need more listens.
It's a really sweet song, I can see the "Dreamlover" comparisons. And I'm glad she did something different. I'm not sure if this was the right choice as a first single, and it still has to grow on me, but I respect it.
