Ya she’s been really good at this (I think the only exception is the first disc of IASF). Lemonade especially, no two songs are at all alike in the slightest. Same with Beyoncé though to a lesser extent but when there were songs that were similar, she paired them together (Ghost/Haunted, Yoncé/Partition).
I felt the exact same as you recently listening to an album that was too cohesive for it’s own good. Nothing feeling unique nor special.
And yet, her albums are still incredibly cohesive feeling in mood.
