they wouldn't have batted an eye at Luhan / Lay / Cheng Xiao etc had they not debuted in Korea 1st

Cheng Xiao, Xuan Yi and Mei Qi are seen differently over there. As for most international fans, they're merely members of a 13-member girl group. But for China, they're feel very cosmopolitan and international.
The Chinese agency would only fly the three to China when they have shootings, and other activities. Plus they can easily control their activities in Korea because of the discipline and the work ethic of idols over there. For instance, Cheng Xiao was paid 10million won for just one TV appearance in China.
China knows they're not like they're ordinary free-range idols. The Chinese Trinity of Cosmic Girls are among the best girls in China that's why they survived and debuted in the long, hard training process given by Korea.
We'll see more of Xuan Yi and Mei Qi next year for sure.
