I bet you will enjoy it more and be more focused than many of the people in the early teens who have never had much of a responsibility and don't know what to do with all that newly found freedom. And it's pretty cool that you're gonna go for the full experience.

i joined my first "adult" (as in dedicated to a series not meant for kids) forum when i was 12 and i kinda both regret it and don't regret it. it opened me up to a lot of new viewpoints and experiences that i had never even thought of but i was also really naive and kinda embarrassing so i shouldn't have been around people that much older than me. it's the only reason i gained any social skills at all before high school so i always have to appreciate it at least a little.
ok dylan dorm life is kind of overrated. most of the people that have lived on my dorm's suite have been really annoying and it's so small that you can basically never have any privacy or do anything without stepping on someone else's toes at least a little. i really would rather skip this part of my housing life cycle :I
