It'll probably be some depressing ballad like Lonely about feeling blue. Watch them promote this new album/mini-album in the exact same way that 2NE1 did the 2nd Mini. If they do, I'll be so irritated. YG should have learned how terrible of an idea that was by the way the 2nd Mini Album era panned out (though it could have been far worse).

Enough mini's. The only way I'd be in support of mini-albums would be if they released multiple per year, like BB was supposed to in 2011. We saw how that panned out.

+1 on all of this. It was just such a messy idea. And then to include Don't Stop the Music as a track when they clearly had more demos in the works

If this release doesn't ****, I'm gonna be pissed. If it has any remakes, I'm gonna be even more pissed. Drunk TOP in Hands Up was cool and all, but if it stopped them from putting out more new material, then **** it. Plus a repack album for something that only had like 6 songs anyway is just

Waiting 2+ months and promoting two singles before releasing the 2nd Mini totally hurt 2NE1's chances of winning awards on the weekly programs, not to mention how messy and unorganized it made everything. Buying the album felt more like an obligation than something exciting to do by the time July 28 rolled around anyway. I love DSTM but they obviously had enough songs not to include it or DC, unless they were bonuses. Six new songs from 2NE1 as a full group would have been no problem. If they release another mini this year instead of their second full album, ch...

Everything about YG in 2011 was messy and terribly planned. Luckily 2NE1 and Big Bang are both famous enough and have large enough followings that they weren't horribly affected by YG's poor management. Ugh. How I wish I could take over YG.

That's true. YG's management skills were never great to begin with and have horribly decreased in quality over the past few years, but their artists are treated well, they release fantastic music, and are comprised of incredibly talented individuals.

I suppose there always has to be some weak point.

I mean, on the bright side, it could always be like SM where your group might suddenly start losing members every time you blink.

Well, since Big Bang's 2012 is already looking to be a mess, I hope that 2NE1's 2012 goes as follows:

February - Release either Japanese version of I Don't Care or a new single
February-March - Promote new Japanese single adequately
April - Release Japanese album (with NEW material) supported by substantial promotion
May - Release another Japanese single just for safeground
June-July - Time off, prepare next Korean album
August - Comeback with second studio album a la Wonder World (bunch of new songs) and one title track like is traditionally done
October/November - Repackage (though they never really have before )
December - Second concert in Korea and Japan

Then kick off 2013 with a new Japanese single to ensure their following remains. Begin American domination in the spring.

The First didn't even achieve anything remarkable in Japan. I think they've gained as large of a following in Japan as they ever will. Just come back to Korea.
