ASCAP? Surprised.I know she's credited on most of the Unapologetic songs on BMI and SongFile but last I checked, the ASCAP credits said different.
I would say she just decided to tack on her name at the last minute, but I remember her talking in that Facebook interview about her Phresh Out The Runway performance at Victoria's Secret, and she said she almost had issues remembering the lyrics because "we just finished writing that song yesterday" or something like that. And it was a very casual comment, not something she thought about at all. So I don't think she was lying.
But then again, when she was asked about Nobody's Business - which she's credited on (on those other sites) - she got defensive and said the "meaning" of the song has nothing to do with her, as she didn't write it. She said it was just a song that The Dream wrote, which she heard and liked and decided to record.
Anyway, I think it's just a reflection of her team being disorganized as usual. No shade. The credits they sent to the printers for the album booklet didn't have her name at all. The itunes credits didn't and don't have her name till today. Whether faked or not, they didn't have a clear consensus about what exactly they were putting forward.
