The Velvet probably got deleted Mr. Mr. MV style. Considering Automatic and Be Natural didn't do anything upon release, SM has probably moved past the concept. It would have been a cool dual release thing along the lines of Misconceptions at the time, but The Red was released too long ago now for the impact to still be there. Their comeback is going to be "Red" driven like... all their comebacks, but they'll have an R&B track or two on there for variety.
But don't do too much on The Red though. It's probably SM's best album of 2015, if not just behind 4 Walls.
