Her former GM once said promotion cost more than gross. It is true as in short term.
But those things help your image, promotion is not just for specific song or album but for artist and their brand too.
And brand promotion is long term deal.
I think this is what missing, but then she doesn't interested in making more fans and reach them anymore. She's settled with her current success and it is big success. So.. sadly it is what it is.

I wish she would try those fresh tv show or she can maker her own.. make live video and post them on youtube. Like adele when you were young live vid.
