If Paradise is a Gaga only song, I would not be surprised if they made it a lead single. Also wouldn't be surprised if there were two lead singles, one for Gaga and Tony, one Gaga, sent to two obviously different markets.

She was always good at using the medias gossip to her advantage though. I think she took herself too seriously this time around and got hurt. She's human, hopefully she learns to manage it better next time.

Even though I love ARTPOP, I'm definitely over it already. Born This Way I would play over and over again, basically every time I went to the gym I would listen to the whole thing (though I did make a playlist of it without "Americano", "Fashion of his Love" and the relatively boring "The Queen"). With ARTPOP I'm sick of "Aura", "Jewels N Drugs" got skipped since the first listen, "MANiCURE" is kinda annoying, never loved "DWUW", "Swine" is a bit jarring and "Dope" I hate.
I'm just like not that into the music this era and if it weren't for the shining beauties that are "Applause" (my most listened to iTunes track), "Venus" and "Gypsy" I really wouldn't be checking for ARTPOP that much at all. I love the concept and the photos and everything about the art venturing into pop, but... yeah, even though ARTPOP is still better than most releases it just doesn't serve album-of-the-decade teas like Born This Way legitimately did.

I kind of hope Gaga takes an extended break from the pop scene and releases C2C and focuses on jazz for a bit, maybe even doing a small tour with Bennett.
A lot of people think her music is burnt out, but I think she could release a smash pop album next. Why she shouldn't though is her fanbase. It's getting pretty bad, as evidenced by my artRAVE experience which was waiting in line with some of the most obnoxious, immature gheys in the universe. She needs to spend some time making mature music to get some older fans and have the more obnoxious YASSSSS crowd jump off the bandwagon, at least for a little bit.

The jazz album could cause a major shift in public and media perception and could help her next pop album tremendously. ARTPOP didn't stand a chance because people hated it before it was even released, so next time around needs to be different.

Nah, her team was geniunely shook by the 'Applause' leak. We weren't supposed to hear 'Applause' until the day they uploaded the "Lady Gaga is over" video. So many plans ruined by the leak.

She's always been bothered by it, but like you said she was clever about it. She was pissed/upset about the hermaphrodite rumors.  I liked the DWUW tweets, though. That was clever.

This B-Side thing could be interesting, somewhat messy and is hard to believe, but I'll bite for now:
it would essentially mean she can get an album out relatively quickly and it won't be as risky as a standard release. She can use tracks she already knows have been received well, but also put brand new tracks on there too. Possibly a few ACT II songs, or songs that were deemed good enough for her next album but she's since abandoned the sound, leaving some gems in purgatory.
She could use it as an EP, an album-but-not-really-an-album inbetween Cheek To Cheek and #5, with singles. Maybe do a special string of shows to perform it. Or, depending when it comes, use it to add a second leg onto ARTPOP without needing to rebrand and overhaul.
How she visualises/brands a B-Sides release will be interesting to watch. Does she make it appear like a proper album? Does she go all candid studio, behind-the-scenes?

Her reason for going down this route is also intriguing. Would it take her to the end of the contract? Is she doing it because Interscope already own the unreleased/b-sides and are demanding this if she won't give them a brand new album? is she drawing a line under her pop career before moving on to jazz or rock? Do they need/want new material out to coincide with the space stunt, but aren't sure whether a new album will be out in time or 'right'?
Maybe what Gaga should do is release C2C, hopefully make a splash with it and change minds which reignites the Gaga flame, then drop the B-Sides which possibly gives her a hit or two circa Space Trip, follow that success (fingers crossed) with a second leg of the artRAVE to finish up missed out territories...and then take a few years out of music to gather herself. Maybe star in that Streisand GYPSY, or another film, to keep her name out there. Do recon work with the older gays in the theatre world.
Could be a good way to leave on a high, but without stressing her out trying to reinvent herself just yet.

I would love such B-side/raritie album. It are the kind of albums that every artist should put out once in a while. I mean most artists record tons of songs, instead of let them dust the shelves, why not share them? I am all here for it!!

So she was pissed at her label for Born This Way. Then she was happy with them and said they fully supported ARTPOP...until they gave up one it. Now she's pissed at them again.  I'm going to assume that her and her label don't get along. How many more albums does she have with them and does Cheek 2 Cheek count?

She just said that they had issues and bumped heads but she had always stated that her and interscope were good. With the exception of BTW single choices. I think she was referring to 2013 aka Troy's demise. I think they're fine now but releasing a b side album would be really cool.

Thanks for the clear up LGStan93. She can be very confusing. I really hope things are smoother for her next time. I really hope the B side album is true. It would give her time to find her inspiration for her next album. And it would be cool not to waste all those tracks. I think all artist should do this more often. Just thinking about the gems that could be hiding.
