You don't have to acknowledge it, buy it, or even listen to it. It's not supposed to be some wild and big epic party album for the masses. That's the simplicity of it all, and that's what Gaga needs. Yes, those songs she sang the other day weren't as dramatic and uplifting as I expected, and I don't expect dance/pop fans to like them, but don't her vocals give you some kind of indicator that the album will at the very least be showing her talents to critics and proving them wrong again? Give me a break, there's nothing wrong with not wanting a jazz album. If you don't want it, just don't buy it. At the end of the day she's still going to be Lady Gaga and will more than likely have future projects that you enjoy.
It was a well written pop song but it wasn't a throw away dance track about absolutely nothing. Plus she was able to throw in amazing vocals. Nothing was gimmicky about the song either. It was true pop art.
