I wonder who were suppose to sing them. I always think of Ezra Koenig (Vampire Weekend lead singer) singing the chorus of Hold Up but not the verses. I can't imagine anyone else singing All Night tbh. She really does appropriate the songs, a true vocalist

She does, I mean every basic girl out there singing a Sia written songs, ends up mimicking, but I can't imagine Sia singing Standing On The Sun or Pretty Hurts, she makes those songs her own.

both song were not finished at the time.
beyonce didn't work with diplo in studio. she got the track and that's all.

hold up was just 1m sampled track with only chorus in it.
same goes to all night. it was just with guitar but beyonce added horn and strings and others.

so afterall beyonce is the producer of the song, not the diplo and others.
and this is one of reason her songs are just sounds like.. her.

pretty hurts is pretty much sia tho.

When Rock City was interviewed a few months ago, they said All Night was for Rihanna because of the throwback Caribbean vibe, but once it was in Bey's hands they had no doubt she would body the beat and make it her own. Hopefully some outtakes leak (or at least we get some Rise Up/God Made You Beautiful situations).
