Just jumping in here, I assume you've probably watched it or it has already been discussed in length, but The Descent would be my first and ultimate choice. Fast approaching its 10th anniversary and still as bright a beacon for the horror genre as it ever was, I'd argue the pinnacle of the post-2000 era.

I'd recommend Wolf Creek next and anything by Ben Wheatley & Amy Jump, Sightseers being the best British film of the decade so far.

I watched The Woman in Black yesterday. Some nice creepy moments but it's sad to see so much potential floating away since the movie barely tries to tell a story. A nice watch though if you're bored and want some scares.

With all the Christmas and Boxing Day sales, I've finally been able to get some of the horror films that came out this year.

Got The Purge, Evil Dead and The Conjuring all watched. Love them all.

Any others I should watch?

Insidious Chapter 2 comes out on home video next month doesn't it?

I got bored and had to stop watching that movie. That's only happened a few times in my life. One of the others was with that 2012 movie.
