Ugh, he's so ****ing sexy. I bought his latest album on a whim and I'm just head over heels.

Anyways. Seems likely that Paradise will be their lead single. It's possible that they could also send out two singles, one for the older and jazz crowd and one that is just Gaga for the younger generation and something original. I wouldn't be surprised. It would probably work out good for them both and would let Gaga have a new music video too!

So guys what's the topic for today?

I had a shower today and whas thinking what it was that attracted me to all my faves since they are all so diverse. Every now and then someone catches my attention, regardless of how they do on the charts
And I think I know now: authenticity

MJ needs no explanation,
Whitney, when she opened her mouth, you could not not listen to her, her stage presence, charisma. She'd swoop you off your feet and give you shivers.
Nirvana: first CD I ever bought myself was Bleach, an album from 1989 and being a depressed teen early 90s it was like I could feel the struggle. It was raw, unorthodox, so not polished when you compare it to their peers of those days: Guns N' Roses. That's what attracted me.
Tupac: I first saw on Poetic Justice (1993) a movie where also Janet plays in. I didn't think too much of him but I bought it, looked more into him and I was hooked. An overall talented, well spoken man, lyrics sharp as a knife and I know I'm not his audience, being a white female but it didn't matter to me, I could see his authenticity.

Gaga I loathed, I could be one of them trolls here on the internet poking fun of her cause she was everywhere and I could not stand being forcefed with Gaga every day. Not that I'd actually do that cause since I wasn't into her I did not see any reason to devote any time to her anyway.
Until ARTPOP... I started to notice cracks and negative reviews, thinking, "what the hell happened to this woman?" I mean it must be bad for her to get only negative articles right?
I watched her interviews, listened to her, watched her perform live and I was in, with the AMAs sealing the deal. I saw her talent, her passion, her authenticity.

Unlike for some of you Little Meltdowners, I don't see her as my dress up doll or the dog you can kick because it's funny. She's the crazy, eccentric girl from your class that you could never see becoming anything cause she doesn't get the world. If she never scores another hit, I'd be fine with that as long as she stays authentic and sings and performs in a way that I still buy it cause that what sets her apart from anyone else in the game right now.

Depends, if you're crazy about chart success you'd jump off board pretty fast.
I might just not be saturated yet with Gaga and all that comes with it. You guys probably seen her up up up all the time and when it starts falling apart there must be something or someone to blame right?
I can undestand that when you're used to being the top dog, coming down to a normal level feels like a failure, but it isn't. Besides what if it was, does that take away who she is as a performer, as a singer? If you ask me I've not seen her sing this good since ever.
